Gray hair after chemo ?

Hi Iman, I lost most of my hair with chemo. It’s coming back curly and pretty much the same colour as before which was dark brown with some grey but certainly not more than before. It’s also come back thicker too. I did cold cap throughout chemo and I use hair serums to help too.

which hair serums are you using, no cold cap

Hi Djct, I used hair serum from UK lash (I also use their eyelash and eyebrow serums too) The other I use is Organic Colour Systems - power build. I use the shampoo, conditioner and revamp. I found them all to be good. I use the hair serum regularly and the shampoo etc once a week maybe once every 2 weeks as my hair doesn’t get greasy like it used to.

My sister lost her hair to chemo and it came back thicker and more beautiful. If it come backs grey (and you don’t want it to be), then dye it  xxx

I hope that you can see this.  So you used the cold cap and still lost your hair ?  How often you had chemo and were you consistent with the cold cap?

I thought I was the only one. I had 8 rounds of chemo and by week 2 my hair had started to come out in handfuls until it was all gone. Its come back enough to cover my head now (3 and a half months after end of chemo) but it is definitely grey whereas before chemo I had only the odd strand. I feel very disheartened especially as my eyebrows and eyelashes have gone and have not regrown (yet) .xx
