Hi, I had surgery in August, radiotherapy early October and e first bisphosphonate late October, after a bone density scan. Hope that helps
Hi I had surgery chemo then Herceptin then bi annual bisphosphonate infusions
X7 so about 18 month gap .
Hi Jane
Thank you . I didn’t know you could have tablets , I’m sorry you had a reaction to chemo , I’m glad you are able to have the tablets and great all is ok
xx
I have a weekly tablet of Alendronic acid. My first oncologist didn't believe I had osteoporosis even though dexa scans said I had it. Surgery Dec, radiotherapy in Feb, started Bisphosphonates end October. Each oncologist works in a different way I feel. There is a limit to what we and they can respond to at any given moment. Thankfully it all works out in the end. 9 mths on hormone blockers is a trial, one I have to work out how to live with.
Hi Sabrina
imagine not believing you had osteoporosis! Hormone blockers are something else , I’m not used to them at all yet although I’m hoping I finally have found the brand I can tolerate more than the others I have experienced
All the best to you xx
