Hi everyone,
Who has experience with Faslodex long term? Would be good to hear from someone in the same boat.
After a recurrence with removal of a tumor in a lymph node on my chest wall and a second round of radiotherapy my oncologist recommended monthly Faslodex injections. I have been on them since June. No further spread was detected at the time. At first I experienced no adverse effects. But now I notice a drop in energy, the need to lie down and a kind of forlorn feeling. My blood tests have been fine so far and my first CT check up is in 2 weeks. I suppose I should be feeling positive but I am absolutely petrified.
Any advice or comments appreciated.
Best regards, xx
Hello Ulla I have just read your post and notice you haven't had any replies, I can't answer your questions myself as I have a different cancer, however, by me responding your post will be "bumped" to the top of the forum and other Community members may well read it and answer your questions.
You may also be able to find the information you need by either:
* Contacting your consultant , CNS or GP. or
* Posting your question in our Ask a Nurse section. If you click on the link I have provided you can post your question to a MacMillan nurse.
I hope this helps - if I can do anything else for you please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes - Brian.
