I had surgery through Bupa. I was just surprised that a year later I'm still finding out new things

Hi, my NPI score was in my post-surgery Pathology report ( towards the very end of the report), which I had requested a copy of after the surgery. First time I'd heard of it then and had to research it to see what it meant. No one mentioned it to me though or discussed it explicitly. Indeed, my Oncologist and I discussed my Predict score instead. From memory, my NPI score was exactly the same as yours.

Hi F1petrolhead welcome to the forum. From what I can see and read both the Nottingham diagnostic test and predict do the same job. My predict score revealed  low level of recurrence without letrozole which I was on and having major problems with. I sat with the nurse specialist and we had a discussion about did the small chance of recurrence outweigh keeping taking oestrogen blockers. In my case it didn't. It is however like most things and only as accurate with the more information you can input to it. Your hospital must use this tool rather than predict but both do the same if that makes sense?  x

Hi,  My NPI score was in the post surgery pathology report.  When I asked my Oncologist about it she said "I don't know why they put that in, no one uses it anymore".
