Hi all, first time in a forum, first time breast cancer sufferer. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced a funny sensation in breast after surgery, a cross between a tingle/flutter and weirdly, mobile phone vibration! Thank you
Hi and welcome to the forum. I am sorry you have been diagnosed and I hope your treatment goes well. I think we all feel funny sensations after surgery. I had fluttering and tingles, sometimes slight shooting pains, but put it down to the nerves repairing and the healing process. I had two ops. Lumpectomy and Sentinal node biopsy and then another lumpectomy for clear margins. I found the first op, especially after the SNB, were I had the weird sensations more. But all healing ok now. Ask you BC nurse if you are worried about any of these sensations, am sure she will reassure you. Wish you well with any ongoing treatment. Hugs xx
