Chemo date.

I had my op 20 July and started chemo around 8/9 weeks later. As I understand they wait until everything is healing nicely before treatment.

I have second round of chemo next week x

I know exactly what you mean as I was thinking the same thing at the time x

It’s not silly.  I’m the same.  It’s hard not to worry but I think the doctors know what they’re doing.

 And it’s importsnt to have the recovery time.

Hi Jax007. I hope you don’t mind me asking, which op did you have? I had mastectomy in August and I’m starting my chemotherapy in 2wks time.  How’s your first round gone? x

Of course I don’t mind at all!

I had left mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.

I start second round of chemo this week.

I felt very nauseous for first 48 hours then gradually started to feel better.

I’m doing very well thanks.  Despite the 3 surgeries I had between June & August, I’ve been very lucky that I haven’t suffered at all.  I too had left mastectomy in August. Just received a phone call from hospital asking me to go in tomorrow afternoon for pre-chemo tests.  How soon after that would I start the treatment I wonder?  x
