Hi All
i have just finished my chemo 3 weeks ago, last 3 sessions being Docitaxal
my legs are very achy and weak just using stairs or waking up hill really hurts and I have to stop. I consider myself fit or at least I was before my treatment,
I just wonder if this is the side effects of chemo still or could it be the start of lympodema after having underarm lymph node clearance?
thanks for any advice x
Hi Boobalicious
I have just finished my chemotherapy and my shins are the most painful and also when walking upstairs my legs ache and feel heavy. I have been out walking everyday but now I finished my chemotherapy I have started to walk a bit further everyday to get my strength back.
Hi JaneyM1
Thanks, good to know it is still the side effects.
Me too, I have been walking as much as possible the whole way through but it seems even harder now, hopefully it will get easier in time? X
Hi, sorry to hear this. I think it takes a while for our body to return to normal levels of fitness. Are you on any other meds? I take letrozole and that does give me achy joints. Best wishes
