Finally some good news

Well done you getting through the last month. It's all quite stressful, getting through each step and working on healing. Positive vibes and prayers for all to heal well. It's one year since I realised something was going on with my breast. 

Enjoy what you can, rest well, daytime TV is there for a reason. Such a strong woman, we have to be sometime.

thats good news daisy 53, its just after midnight 13th october, friday 13th how apt - had my right mastectomy done yesteday 12th, came  home, now realise i should have been prepared with a bottle drain holder, cover as hospital didnt have any,said to put it ina carreir bag!!  also prepare my bed for a comfortable-ish sleep, maybe v shape pillow, extra pillows, should have prepared the husband for how i had no idea what a massive emotional impact this has had on me and us, still in shock its gone, looked so normal and didnt give me pain, keep saying it was cancer so it had to go, any tips where to get bottle drain cover, and sleeping pillow recomendations, positions, internet searches not bringing up much.  think its going to be a long night, take care everone, xx jules

I used a V Pillow with normal pillow, I used the V pillow when sitting on settee watching TV . I also had a heart cushion.I purchased the heart cushion and drain bags from cancer shop online.

Another tip for drain bag a nurse told me. A string wash bag hook it onto a belt around waist I had two bags and they were removed on the tenth day
