Hi All,
I am new on here and have had really horrible side effects from EC chemotherapy. I am now moving on to weekly paxitaxcel and wondered how others have felt on this treatment.
I was diagnosed with TNBC grade 3 stage 1 breast cancer in April 23.
Thanks
Hi Boney M
I was diagnosed with grade 3 stage 1 TNBC in April 2022 and, like you, had EC followed by paclitaxel. Although my side effects while on EC were minimal, I didn't get any side effects on paclitaxel. I hope you'll be the same.
Thank you for responding. That is reassuring to know.
Hi Boney
I'm the other way round having EC after Paclitaxel. I had my first session of Paclitaxel yesterday and I've been fine, a bit of nausea in the night but no other side effects so far. (
good luck with it.
Xx
I had EC, then Paclitaxel afterwards. Unfortunately I was one of the unlucky ones that had an allergic reaction to the Paclitaxel.
First infusion went OK and the only side effect was some bone pain. The second infusion I reacted in minutes and the re-try even quicker.
