Just wanted to share my good news . My lumpectomy was successful with clear margins and lymph nodes are clear. I will need radio therapy and hormones but so relieved. I know I’m probably in the minority on this site and have so much to be thankful for. Now to wait for oncology appointment . Thinking of you all awaiting surgery or undergoing treatment xxx

I know how that feels. I’m still awaiting my results on the 3rd October and if I will need radiotherapy. I know I have to have the Letrozole tablets for 5 years, which I’m not looking forward to with the side effects. Only just stopped having the hot flushes last year. But we carry on going xx
