Hi again. I just joined this forum today and this is my third post! I'm reading other people's experiences and that throws up more questions for me. I had what I presume was the magseed injected into the affected breast last Monday and had the mammoplasty, excision and sentinel node biopsy surgery the next day. There was no mention of skin discolouration, blue urine etc and I don't seem to be having any of those side effects but now I'm worried that this isn't normal? If the dye was injected during surgery, surely there would be evidence of that? I have a review in 2 weeks but this is playing on my mind a little.
I’m glad that your surgery went well. You might be one of those that discolouration etc does not effect. So I would have thought all normal. I had blue urine for a couple of days and the wounds had blue around them. But it has gone now. Speak to your BC nurse or at the review if you are still worried about it. Take care and sending hugs xx
I had no blue wee and wasn't told I would get that. Also no blue coloration on my breast
