Hi,
I hope everyone is doing ok as can be
At the moment I just wanted to know if anyone's been treated in Bristol recently and what the wait time was from seeing consultant? I suppose anywhere in the country would be interesting but if anyone is local it may be more relevant as seems to vary.
Been waiting for months for one reason or another and it's starting to drive me mad
Thank you x
I ‘ve been waiting 3.5 months but have operation booked next week…on strike day! The wait and changes in planned ooeration every time I saw a different consultant really messed with my head. I’ve been depressed and anxious and feel ok now it’s actually happening at last ( hopefully)
Hi Gemma1234
I was treated in Bristol last year, and as it was before all the strikes I didn’t have to wait too long. My CT planning scan was only 10 days after my Oncology appointment and my radiotherapy started about a fortnight later. I hope you don’t have to wait too much longer, I know how stressful it can be.
Hi,
I had radiotherapy in Bath February 2022. We live between Oxford and Bath and there was a long wait time for Oxford. I started radiotherapy 5 weeks after finishing chemo and was very impressed with the RUH. X
Thanks Gilliebean, perhaps RUH could be an option if it's too much longer x
