Hello, I had a sentinel lymph node removal op about 3 weeks ago. The scar seems to have healed but is a bit itchy from time to time. Is this normal? I am resisting scratching it as I don't need an infection!
Have you been advised to moisturise your scar? I was and used a hypoallergenic type of moisturiser. It sounds reasonable to me that healing skin could be itchy, but perhaps phoning the breast care nurse would give you peace of mind?
