Feeling poo as second round of chemo due today but now have breast implant infection

as for steroids why did you take? did they tell you too? not noticed rancidity but i reckon the roids and the shots make me sad/angry

Thank you. I have to take two doses of 8 mg the day before chemo and 6mg on morning before chemo. So I did yesterday as all was well and bloods good and typically I took this morning early to try and held avoid insomnia and then notice my angry boob. My salt is apparently high and they are now talking about me having to go the hospital where I had surgery and staying in. I don't want to go!!!! Thanks for replying. I hope you are ok xxx

double yuck, hospital stay, and ok, i just take two on morning of, but as for hospital stay better safe i guess, hugs. im frustrated as have lumpy feeling throat so eating and drinking sucks. hope they take good care of you

I'm sorry to hear that. Are they sores relating to chemo mouth? I was recommended fresh pineapple as a cure for mouth but not sure if that will help throat. Gargle with lots of salt water and eat iccream. Make sure you keep drinking. Sending  xx

Mouth sores are just awful. I think I saw a post that mentioned Weleda mouthwash being good. Might be worth a go. Been a bit dire this end, 9 attempts at a cannula today and I've got to keep it in all week as need IV antibiotics daily at home. Seeing my surgeon on Tuesday. Not sure if my chemo will continue as worry is my implant is failing. Feeling a bit sorry for myself! X

So sorry that you are feeling ill.  Mouth sores really suck.  I don’t know if the old fashioned remedy of warm salt and water would help .  Wishing you an early Happy Birthday .  Hope you feel better soon and that your implant behaves.

oh moomin I’m so sorry to hear it is becoming such a trial. hugs. i bought some mouth sore rinses and it is helping, i am off for bloods tomorrow.

have you not got a pic or a port line? i guess with the implant problems its just all up in the air.  more hugs coming your way, will keep all fingers crossed on tuesday they have a good idea what is happening and a plan
