Hello
Not a very glam question im afraid but last friday i had the 1st if 4 rounds of TC, so far i've not felt that bad except for TRAPPED WIND!
Its not an emergency but rang the hotline last night due to the discomfort and they just suggested gaviscon.
Does anyone have an old wives tale remedy?
Xx
Hi GigiB
While I haven't got a recommendation for you I noticed that you hadn't had any replies yet so I thought I'd reply to you anyway. This reply will move you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with a suggestion for you.
Best wishes

Hi, my oncologist prescribed omeprazole for me, a daily dose and twice a day around the actual chemo (3 weekly cycle for me) so might be worth asking about this as it's prescription only, not over the counter, Best of luck, it's horrible
Oh fab thanks! Will mention that, yes not the mosr pleasant haha
I second Alison218 and recommend Windease capsules. Could you maybe massage your large intestines to help it move along - basically rubbing your tummy in the direction your bowel moves naturally. Also, a friend with IBS used to lie on the floor on her tummy and found this could help.
