Just thought I’d say hi as an Aug starter . Diagnosed June with stage 3 IDC HER neg ER positive, having chemo first to try and shrink the tumour before surgery. Having 4 EC followed by 4 pacitaxil. Dose dense chemo every 2 weeks . Off for no 3 EC this afternoon. Hoping that thinks will shrink down plan for MRI between no 6 and 7 chemo hoping it is doing something.
Chemo has been going ok just struggle with bone pain with the filgritism injections each round. Hair loss was difficult after 2nd dose so made the choice of shaving it off as so hard seeing it come out, felt much more in control doing that and weirdly felt relieved shaving it off and empowered I guess ;-)
stay strong and wish you all well would be interested to hear if anyone has a similar diagnosis.

Welcome to the forum, although obviously it is a place you'd rather not be.
I was ER+, but didn't need chemo. I am sure there are other ladies who have had a similar diagnosis who will be around shortly and share their experiences with you. I wanted to reply as your post is in danger of dropping off the first page and by replying I am boosting you back to the top of page 1.
Kindest wishes, Lesley
Thankyou Lesley great to hear you are doing so well.
Best wishes
