Hi Chisi welcome to the forum and so glad to hear that you have a date for your surgery. What kind of surgery are you having and have they explained it all to you? I can completely understand you wanting it to be all over. I think we are all like that its a relief that its actually finally happening..
Good luck with it all and please do let us know how it goes and how you are doing. xxx.
Hi Gail
Thanks so much for your best wishes
I am going for lumpectomy with Therapeutic and reconstruction Mammoplasty & radiation.
It's the strangest feeling to think that I have a life threatening thing but don't feel in the least bit sick.
Hope you are well and thanks again xx
I totally know what you mean about feeling fine snd no symptoms. I couldn’t feel a lump etc so go figure. I had lumpectomies in both as one had DCIS and the other stage 1 invasive both ER positive. Small breasted so no oncoplastic techniques. Take care and you should be happy after all is done. Hugs to you.

Hi Chisi
That’s great that you have an op date. I remember talking to nurses and they told me mine was pencilled in for a certain date which took me by surprise!
Had mastectomy with immediate reconstruction as unfortunately had more than one tumour. Got through op really well actually and recovering well.
Main thing I took away with me was the importance of doing the exercises daily which again, I’ve not found too bad.
Best wishes and a hug
Sorry for late reply. I'm so glad it all worked out for you xx. I got 2 new knees in the last 3 years and know from that how important the exercises are for a quick recovery..
I was wondering though how choose my new breast size as I am getting a reduction on both breasts (even though one has no cancer.).
Cheers xx
