Hi,

I was diagnosed yesterday I was told it is grade 3 and not responsive to hormones and I will be starting chemo hopefully in 4 weeks, has anyone else’s journey started like this and how are you getting on?

  • Hi there, sorry you find yourself here.  I noticed this post a few days ago so it might be a chance for you to talk to people who have recently started chemo (August chemo starters) and I just wanted to share my blog of all the things I wish I'd known before I started in case you find this useful (Chemo hints). Best wishes

it gets less scary when we speak and see people going through, been through what we are going through hugs

  • Hi, I was diagnosed grade 3 invasive ductual breast cancer oestrogen positive and her2 positive and is staged at 2b and has gone into some lymph nodes. My treatment plan is chemo for 6 cycles then surgery then radiotherapy. The chemo I am on is ec-t chemo, the first 3 cycles is ec which is my last one next week then I go to the last part which will be docetaxel for 3 cycles and along with that I will have phesgo injections every 3 weeks for 18 cycles.
