Hi all
i don’t know where to start looking at information,
mammogram, ultrasound, biopsies taken Friday, 1 lump 25mm another 7mm plus another possible in the armpit.
told the larger is definitely cancer possibly the smaller also, surgery is also definite.
Care plan meeting next week
i feel lost
Hi Bizkit. I had exactly the same as you in April this year. My results came back Her2 positive cancer. I'm half way through chemotherapy October is an operation and the radiotherapy. Mine on my brast was 19mm and smaller under the arm. It was a very anxious time waiting for treatment to start . Sorry you are here but we are all in this together.

Hi
Sorry you’ve joined the club, it feels as if there’s a lot to take in at first, but I found it got easier the more I knew.
I’d say don’t try and read up on too much at this stage, you need to know more about your specific cancer to find the right information, and the wrong information can just be scary, so as Djct said, don’t google, a lot of stuff on the internet is out of date, and more than likely not about your cancer.
At your next appointment you should find out the biopsy results, and what type of cancer yours is which is the stage you can start looking for more specific information, like Djct I found this forum (and the Breast Cancer Now one) to be really helpful. I was quite targeted in the posts I read, and found they gave me questions to ask, as well as reassurance. If I came across terms I hadn’t met then here, and the other site I mentioned, had information as well as the forum posts to fill me in on what they meant.
Make full use of the hospital team as well, my surgeon was excellent at fully discussing things, and always asked if I had any questions, problem was I tended not to come up with the questions until I’d got home. I think my breast care nurse knew I’d be ringing her up later, but never minded.
Hope it all goes well for you.
