Chemo 3/12 done 1/4 way through. Bloods totally normal. Lumps in neck shrinking. I’m feeling really good, just like I did when treatment started working 4 years ago, after I was first diagnosed. I’m quite emotional
It was also very moving to be able to encourage 2 other ladies to keep their cold caps on, as they were feeling very apprehensive & nervous for their 1st & 2nd times. They were both so pleased they persevered
Hello Valleygirl
Thank you for the update and am pleased that you are feeling really good. It was great that you were able to support the other ladies using their cooling caps. I can understand them feeling a bit apprehensive. I used the cooling cap during my chemo last year and found that once I had got through those first 10 minutes or so I could manage.
Love your blanket by the way. My nurses let me bring in one from home as well and I did find it helped.
I wish you well for the rest of your treatment
Jane
