Epitrochlear (near inside of elbow) lymph node

Hi isaxx welcome to the forum. I didn.t know that's what it was called but yes I have one as well.

Mine developed after I had a dog bite on  my hand and it came up in response to infection and remains raised, but less than it was.

Have you had any injury to that arm or have you scratched it and maybe not been aware of that happening? Mine is on the same side as my surgery was on.. I did have an ultrasound as they wanted to rule out that it was a lymph node and my ultrasound showed it to be a  "vessel" and the reason that it had been raised was as a direct result of the dog bite that I had. as I also have lymphoedema in that arm.

Not sure if that's any help at all but just to reassure you that it need not be a lymph node but if it is it could possibly be raised as a result of an infection that you may not even be aware of .

Thank you so much for replying. Mine is definitely a lymph node confirmed on ultrasound. They just couldn't definitely tell me whether reactive or malignant. I am having it biopsied but don't know when. I am just wondering whether anyone else has had a lymph node in that location. Even the ultrasonographer said he had never encountered an abnormal lymph node there before, either benign or malignant. So  here I am..
