Lung nodule ct scan

Hi I have exactly the same I had mastectomy  in Feb followed by radiotherapy  and ct showed small lesion on right lung. I do have copd and have  been told before  my breast cancer about the lesion although they say its not connected  and hasn't  grown I do understand your worry. Mine they say is likely to be scarring from infections too. I'm  sure we will be fine but I know exactly how your feeling so sending you big hugs Mandy x

Hello,  just wanted to share a test that is used to see if there is residual disease from breast cancer in your body.  It is being used more and more here in the USA and it is called Signatera.  Can be used for all solid tumors.  Here is the link.  Easy test as it is a blood sample and then a tissue sample from the cancer is sent and results to oncologist.  https://www.natera.com/oncology/signatera-advanced-cancer-detection/patients/signatera-for-breast-cancer/

Thank you for sharing. Im not sure if im too chicken to have this carried out to scared of the results. I have a panic attach every scan. Im a wimp.

Sorry to hear that you have a panic attack at every scan.  You certainly aren't a wimp it's perfectly understandable that this happens to you.  Scans are scary as you never know what they are going to show up.
