Hello all,
I had my surgery on Monday and since Thursday I've developed some kind of rash mainly at the back of my legs, calfs and upper part of bottom. Any advice on how to deal with it will be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Hello Lana, Maybe it could be from a new medication you are taking? Could be a drug rash. Personally I would stop any new drug and call BCN. Take care.

Thank you for your reply, Barbara! I'm still not on any medication and my guess is it might be caused by the hot blanket they put on me after the surgery, it was really very uncomfortable... Take care of yourself, xx
Makes sense. Every time you go to hospital for procedures they always try to warm us up. I usually don’t like them as I am warm most of time. I would be gentle with your irritated skin and don’t use any soaps on that area. Products with colloidal oatmeal are soothing and I think Aveeno has some moisturizers with that in it. Feel better soon.

Thank you, Barbara! Speaking with my BCN is definitely a very good idea! I'll do that on Monday. By the way, I read your story about your BC journey - the part I loved is when you mentioned that you've been married to the same man for 50 years (I've been married to my husband for 26) and I wish you many more happy years with him! Best, Lana
Thanks Lana. Yes now it is 51 and going strong. 26 years is wonderful too snd wishing you many many more.
We are blessed.
