Paclitaxel Reactions

Sorry to hear that you have developed a rash on your face and have itchy red eyes.  Have you tried using an antihistamine?  If not try that and see if it helps, if it doesn't contact your chemo nurse and they should be able to suggest something to help.

I’m taking antihistamine, thanks I’ll see what they say… gutted that I’ve started to react now… only got 3 treatments left too 

• I’ve just had my 2nd Paclitaxel and have bad chemo rash on face and neck day after treatment.  I had it for about 5 days after treatment with EC chemo and rang the hospital.  They said they would prescribe antihistamine if it was bothering me which it wasn’t so I left it but that may be the answer for you if itchy.  I would ring them for advice.  Hope it clears up soon.  I am literally beetroot red at the moment.
