Hiya
I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in February. I have finished my chemo and will now have a phesgo injection every 3 weeks from Friday onwards. I have just been informed about a 3 weekly infusion of Zometa starting in autumn as my breast cancer spread to my spine.
Has anyone had this treatment and if so did you have any side effects?
Hey Steph,
I had exactly the same treatment and although my cancer treatment changed, am still on Zometa. Initially I had some aching bones but now it’s fine and I do not really feel too bad after the treatments.. just tiredness for a day or two, if that.
Hope you do not have any negative issues with it
