Pain after biopsy

Is it normal to feeL pain in breast and under arm weeks after the biopsy?

  • if they caught a nerve perhaps. for me tho i didnt have any pain, but i would call and ask a nurse, my surgeon after surgery said better to be hyper vigilant

    BC in 2023, ER + PR- HER2-

    AC and taxol, grade 2a , micro in 1 lymph, 2 surgeries

  • I had it for a week as very badly bruised half my breast was black. But ring if worried x

  • I had pain in my breast after the biopsy until the tumour was removed,  I felt it was the marker they placed in after taking the sample but I'm not sure.

  • I had pain for a few weeks after the biopsies. I had two taken and it felt like a punch each time. I also had swelling, and my lump felt bigger - both of which are normal. I actually found the biopsies more painful than the lumpectomy! Though the pain from that was more when I did anything with my arms due to nerves being involved.
