  • Hi, I’ve just noticed that your post hasn't had any response yet. I am sorry I can’t help myself, but my answer will pop you to the top of the forum again and hopefully someone will be along soon. Best wishes

  • I’m afraid t can’t give you an answer either.  I have Zoladronic acid which comes under Zometa but I have it by infusion every six months.  Hopefully someone else can answer you. Take care.

  • Hi. I don't know yet, however my first three monthly injection is on Wednesday, following two one monthly ones.

If you are still wondering then, I will be able to help!

  • Hello,
I am injected with Zoladex every month. The needle is big, a beautiful nurse at my medical center schedules injections every month for me. She puts an anesthetic on my stomach because she causes a little bit of pain and then she cleans and places a patch on that area. She keeps track of where she injects every month. For example, if she placed it on the left side of my belly button today, the following month she will place it on the right side of my belly button.
    I hope I helped you.
    Take care of yourself.

  • Thankyou everyone had it done yesterday it wasn’t any different to the monthly one x

  • Hi Giovana, I don’t have this injection but I have Phesgo every 3 weeks. The nurse can either use the syringe and needle or instead of using the needle that comes with the syringe she can change it for a smaller needle with a tube and a little butterfly clip on it. I guess a little like a cannula. This is the option I normally go for as I don’t like the needle on the syringe as it’s quite big . Maybe it’s worth asking your nurse if they can use that way instead as needle is a lot smaller.
