Hi all, been on here for some time but never posted anything.
I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in December and have been undergoing chemotherapy since January. All has been going well and had very few side effects fortunately but I have moved onto EC and am on my 3/4 and it’s week 2 and feel like crap! I’ve been sick last couple of days and can’t keep anything down. Has anyone else felt like this?
CONTACT YOUR RED CARD TEAM. You shouldn't be feeling that rough. Even if your temp is normal could be a sign of something so you might need to have your bloods done again.
Hi, definitely worth giving your BC Nurse a call. I figured out I needed to see the anti sickness meds before I actually got sick and that helped me for. Hope you feel better soon and get the right support for the next round. Best wishes
Thank you both, I actually went into hospital as my electrolytes were too low where I had been sick so much. All back to normal now and hoping to come out today Tip from the paramedics if you can’t keep anything down drink flat lemonade and use dioralyte.
