Hi, I’ve just started Ibandronic Acid tablet’s and am suffering with shooting pains in the arms, legs & back. Hips are particularly painful too, also I get diarrhoea quite a lot & painful stomach ache’s.
any advice greatly received should I ask to reduce the dose?
Sorry to hear you're struggling with side effects, probably worth a discussion with your oncologist or BCN. Best wishes
Hi did you find anything helped as I've started ibandronic acid along with letrozole and have chest pains going into left shoulder.
They linked it to ibandronic acid earlier this week and started peptac and a stomach protector hoping this will help
Thanks I might mention that to my GP, although I’ve found as long as I drink 1/2 litre of water when I take the tablet, the symptoms are nowhere near as bad, I also drink a lot of water throughout the day now, also I take Vitamin D twice a day, if I forget I notice the pains worsen.
Thanks for that I may try the vitamin d too worth a go
