Bone concerns

Hi, I was treated last year with chemo, surgery and radiotherapy for IDC grade 2 ER pos HER neg (plus full lymph node clearance due to spread). I’m on abemaciclib, zoladex and letrozole plus Bisphosphonates infusions every 6 months. It was on my left side.

I’ve been experiencing sore left thigh pain - particularly noticeable when I’ve been sitting at my desk for a while and when I get out of bed - i.e. when I start walking on it after a while and it’s only on my left side. I’m now increasingly nervous about bone mets.

Am due to see my oncologist in 5 weeks time for next Abemaciclib review. Not sure if I should try and see them sooner to discuss this concern?

Has anyone else experienced this and any advice?
thanks in advance

  • Hi RunAndBecome

Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. For I were you I would get on to your oncologist about the pain in your thigh and see f you can get any earlier appointment.

    Best of luck.
