Evening all
I had my first dose dense Paciltaxel on Friday.
One of the side effects I am experiencing is a constant dull pain, heavy achy legs and aching feet.
I am still very active and gym going as I know it's not muscular and believe that any movement will help this aching.
Just wondering if anyone else experienced such side effects- if so hopefully can reassure me that as with most side effects the aches do go away before next Chemo
Am I to expect this sort of side effect with each dose and for those that experienced it ..did it improve with subsequent Chemo or get worse.
Thanks
I had a lot of aches with it too. Found heat very useful and the usual painkillers. I found that the aches were variable each time, and were much better within a couple of days. I exercised throughout chemo, but found the first few days after paclitaxel, walks were enough. I also got more tired as time went by with chemo, as you’d expect. I think the steroids are responsible for some of the paclitaxel aches and pains too. It will settle down. Hope it’s not too bothersome for you and that it clears up quickly x
