After 3 attempts to remove lobular breast tumour nearly 2 years ago, I now have a very similar hard lump close to the surgery site. I can't tell my family until I know more. I'm waiting for a clinic appt to find out. I can't bear the thought of going through it all again, the radiotherapy and possibly chemo. Has anyone else had return of lobular ca in the same area? I know it's possible but rare. Thanks for reading.
Hi Cazzann welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about how worried that you are. I can understand why you may be worried but I wanted to ask if you think that is at all possible that this could be scar tissue from the previous surgery? After 3 attempts it is possible thats what that could be. That said I think being seen again at the clinic is the best idea and then at least you can be fully checked out and find out exactly what that lump is.
Sending some hugs your way meantime. xxx
Hiya,
Just to say that I have a hard lump just under my surgery area, and I had to have mri and biopsy to find out what it was - scar tissue. I had lobular cancer too. Hopefully yours will be the same.
