Still got aches and pains fuzzy head and sleepless nights. Has anyone tried nytol or evening primrose I’m two years on this tablet I have changed to another one but same. Tamoxifen is next I think but I’m worried about side effects Is it as strong as letrozole xx
Hi yes I had 3 1/2 mths on Letrozole, just swapped to Tamoxifen. My knees became really painful at times. I do have Nytol, some like Melatonin had to be 5 mgs not 2. I have something prescribed by GP to take noore than 3 days per week. Sleep gets harder for many with menopause, I have had problems sleeping for yrs. Only started on hormone blockers end of Jan.
Sorry to hear you are struggling in Letrozole. I haven’t tried nytol but melatonin really helps me when I can’t sleep. I have been on Letrozole for roughly 3.5 months too and have a really painful right foot which is really getting me down now as I can’t really exercise much any more. Going for really long walks is how I used to relax but I can only walk for about 15 - 20 mins now before the pain gets really bad and I have to stop.
It’s strange how letrozole affects people in different ways - I am persevering with it until my follow up next week and will ask to try something else so see if I can tolerate it better. I hope tamoxifen works better for you - good luck xx
