Ultrasound and biopsy

Sorry to hear that you have breast cancer.  I'm nor sure why you need to go trough another biopsy, maybe they don't have all the information they need to treat you.. The only reason I can think of for having another ultrasound is that they want to put a guide wire into your breast as chemo often shrinks tumours and your surgeon needs to know where the tumour is so that he can remove it.  Why not ring your breast care nurses and ask them why you need another biopsy.

Thank you for answer me. I spoke to the hospital I have to have another ultrasound and possibly biopsy as my mri showed up another thing on my left boob but they are saying it could be benign.

Best to be sure I'd say, especially if there's a chance it's in the other boob. My MRI showed several lumps in both breasts and only one turned out to be malignant. Having the peace of mind always helps  

Best of luck...biopsies are not pleasant. I'm likely on my way to start chemo soon and it's freaking me out. Xxx stay strong
