Hi guys....I've just been given my blood test results but my neutrophils are low. I might miss my chemo dose on Thursday if they haven't built up when I go for another blood test tomorrow. Any Idea how I can increase them fast?
Hi Alicia, presumably you've already had some chemo? I don't think there is anything you can do to speed things up. Did you have the Filgrastim injections after chemo? Amy x
Hi Alicia21, I was given filgrastim injections to do for 5 days following chemo to help increase my neutrophils. Did you not get given any of these ? Might be worth talking to your oncologist to see if he/she can prescribe them for you.
