Can anyone advise if it is normal that my breast is swollen and painful some days and not on other days. I am hopeful some days, that I have turned the corner and recovered from the surgery and then experience a swollen and painful breast on other days, which lowers my mood and causes concern. I am now 6 weeks recovery from lumpectomy and have not yet started radiotherapy. I did experience an infection in the wound 2 weeks ago and needed antibiotics for 7 days. Should I be concerned about the changes in my breast or is this normal.
