None of it really makes sense to me and I’m pulling my hair out, this is my wife’s diagnosis.
could someone please explain to me what each thing means and if it’s good or bad?
I can’t find much in HER2 Low?
HR negative seems to be a bad thing?
thank you so much xx
Hello Mr Power, I certainly understand how overwhelming it all is right now. I did some research and found this on HER 2 Low and it is easier to understand than other things I have read. Here is the link https://www.pharmacytimes.com/view/with-new-classification-of-her2-low-breast-cancer-pharmacists-see-major-paradigm-shifts#
It is new to treat HER 2 Low so good your wife will be getting it. Research is moving on. HR positive is easier to treat but it has issues too so have to deal with what we have.
I am wishing you and your wife the very best. You are a gem to be helping her with the research.

Hi ring the MacMillan nurse advice line. I am sure they can help. Also I found it good to have questions written down before appointments and would scribble notes that I would then read back to the specialist doctor to clarify I had things straight. It is confusing, I know especially when you can sometimes get varying responses but worth persevering and why having a relative along at appointments helps.
Good luck
