Hi, is it usual to start tamoxifen before having radiotherapy? My surgeon prescribed it at my follow up appointment and radiotherapy will be in 6 weeks time.
He actually prescribed Letrozole at first and was booking a bone density scan until I asked if it would stop my periods, he was shocked I still have periods, turns out he thought I was 56, I am 53 and then he crossed out Letrozole and prescribed Tamoxifen and cancelled the bone density scan
