Feb 2022 Diagnosed with advanced aggressive stage 3 breast cancer. Lymph nodes. Chemo March to August, mastectomy September. November on new chemo Zadcyla for 10 months ending September 2023. Oncologist started me on Anastrozole for 5 yrs last November after mastectomy. 3 weeks of Radiotherapy in January 2023. Last month had 1st zoledromic acid treatment to reduce risk of bone cancer which I'm having every 6 months for 5yrs. Side effects were nightmare. After 2 weeks, its left me exhausted. Also given calcium tablets to continue for 5 yrs. Would like to hear from anyone that's gone through similar as finding it tough but keep going. Thanks. x
