Hi there fellow anastrazole takers. I wondered if anyone has experienced/suffered with De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis in their wrist/thumb? I’ve had some treatment which didn’t work. Just had an ultrasound so now waiting to see what happens next. Does anyone know if it definitely can be a side effect of the anastrazole as I have read online that it can. Just wondered how people have fared and if they are symptom free after treatment. Thanks
Hi Leshar , I’m a fellow Anastrozole popper! I don’t have your particular issue (plenty of others though) but I think another lovely lady here has had trigger finger/ thumb which I think is similar? WhatHappened is that right? I seem to remember you mentioning this and I know you’re on letrozole but similar effects.
I think these hormone treatments have a lot to answer for, hope you can get this resolved. Love and hugs, HFxx
Hi HappyFeet1 thanks so much for responding. Let’s see if WhatHappened responds. I’d be interested to hear what help she’s received and how she’s managed it. Yes I’m afraid these hormone pills cause us all sorts of side effects.,I’m on my second year so 4 more to do. I’d just like to be able to manage side effects for the long haul. Best wishes
