I found a lump on 1st December 2022, it turned out to be grade 3 invasive ductal cancer (ER3,PR7,HER2 awaited axhiaLC5? It wasn’t strong for oestrogen receptors but positive for progesterone receptors which they said was unusual.
I was told to get chemo to shrink the tumour so I have had 9 weeks of epirubicin and cyclophosphamide , yesterday swapped over to docetaxil for 9 weeks. 3 week intervals. I’m doing really well and I still working. I sometimes have to remind people I’m sick and I feel a bit resentful sometimes. I don’t get much support from my colleagues. Anyway I’m not moaning on here that is another group xx
Hi DeeJayce
It is so positive to hear that you are working and having treatment. I am currently off work as I have had my op first 3 weeks ago and I am awaiting results to finalise my treatment plan. As I am HER2 positive it is likely I will have chemo and it is a real boost to hear that you have continued working. I am sorry that you do not feel supported by work and I really hope you are feeling supported elsewhere in your life.
Good luck on your journey. Sending lots of positive vibes your way ️
Hi DeeJayce
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with breast cancer. I'm glad to hear that chemo is working for you and that you can keep on working. I'm sorry to hear that your colleagues are not supporting you. Hope you are being supported elsewhere.
Best wishes

Hi Daisy, it’s just so different being supported by someone who knows what it’s like. I’m doing great really. I need help with bills though I am getting very behind on my gas and electricity bills etc, do you know how I could get some help?
sorry for the late response xx
Hya! Oh mrs magoo, I have flown through the chemo. It helps with the tablets you take so please don’t be scared, I had a feeling of fear before because of the media’s representation of chemotherapy t I was surprised, I actually feel on top of the world for the first week
