Hi I'm new to letrazol,

I'm 37 had all my treatment last year , been on leuprorelin since last march .

I started on exmesatane last oct , got completely wiped out on it after a few months, by 4 and a bit months I was empty inside, so exhausted & had to come off of it .

Started letrazol 3 weeks ago, was ok but then I had my leuprorelin shot & I felt so I'll, heavy bladder, just sore , psin in abdomen for like 2 weeks,

Been told by breast care nurse/ doctor Saud  not normal side effects.

Not sure if it's the lactose I took enzymes but whether they work or not I duno.

I'm having a two week break,

Heavy bladder is better .

Got a chat with oncologist on the 13 .

Got a trapped nerve currently in leg/ bum / hip  which is sore,

Has anyone ever had severe side effects, or am I just a random that just don't get on well with meds.

Thanks

  • Hi Etna

Sorry to hear about the side effects you are having. While I haven’t had severe side effects I noticed that you haven’t had any answers yet so I thought I’d reply to you,to put you to the top of the discussion. Hopefully someone will be along shortly with the experience you are looking for.

    Best wishes

  • Hmm, no one's replied, hopefully some one might,

I'm just trying to figure out if letrazol is worth continuing , or are the side effects bladder issues, I am waity for oncology appointment , wanting to weigh up pros & cons really, cheers

  • Hi etna. I take letrozole and do get lots of side effects, but haven't had any bladder issues. Lots of bone and muscle pain, hot flushes and headache. I would mention the bladder pain to your consultant when you see them. I'm sure they'll be able to confirm and advise. Take care
