Hi, I’m beginning 15 days of radiotherapy tomorrow - quite nervous tbh. I’m quite active and since my mastectomy have managed to get back up to my 4 miles a day - I’m really hoping I can carry this on, even if it’s slightly less.
How have you all found your fatigue levels? Also any hints or tips for creams, shower cream, managing heat and itching etc much appreciated x
Hi all you lovely ladies - I finished my last radiotherapy appt today! Well overall it went well, apart from one session where the machine packed up when I was in the middle of my treatment! It got sorted out in a few minutes. (They had to turn it off and back on again). I’m looking forward to some nice quiet days and walks. it’s the Spring Equinox Monday, so days become longer that nights. Hope you are doing OK. Julie x
Great news and it feels so good to have radiation all done. Moving forward!!

My skin isn't too bad 2 wks later. The odd stab here and there. I went back to get the other nipple checked on Friday. Scan showed there is nothing sinister. The nurse practitioner told me to keep moisturising, the hormone blockers dry the skin out as well due to lack of oestrogen. X
