Hi I started my Letrozole about 10 days ago and take it last thing at night, no significant side effects as yet or so I thought. For the last 5 nights about 20 mins after I have taken it I experience an intense pain in the left side of my chest under my ribs, it lasts for about 10 mins and then starts to ease off, it feels like I'm being stabbed with an ice pick. The last three days it's started to happen occasionally during the day for about 10 mins each time.
I am already on Statins as I have Familial hypercholesterolemia which means I have genetically high cholesterol that can't be controlled by diet. I'm checking my blood pressure three times a day and it seems fine. Is this a "normal" side effect?
Hi Gee65 I haven't experienced this myself but I have read that chest pain can be a side effect. If it were me, I’d give my medical team a call and have a chat about it, just to check in. Best wishes
