Hi everyone,
The results of my CT scan show no spread. Never felt relief like it! The last few weeks have been utter torture.
Going to start chemo on 10th Feb, followed by surgery, and possible radiotherapy. I have Her2+ bc, and will be having the protein injection alongside chemo and then tamoxifen for the next 5-20 years.
Who else begins treatment in February?
Fingers crossed I start my first chemo end of Feb. May be weeks after the 13th. Best off luck x
Good morning Kelly, I got my first Chemo yesterday and was extremely stressed before it. It was all good, your nurse will explain all the procedures. I know everyone is different but I'm sure and hope you will be ok. I don't know if you want to use cold cap or not, I wanted to give a chance. For me it was bearable. Just gave me headache while I'm having it but when it's finished, the headache is gone straight away. But it makes the whole process more longer. Sometimes i felt and still feel nauseous, but completely normal. Best of luck to you and everyone here. Please keep positive, (keep telling to myself as well) Take care.
