No confusion.  This chemo treatment is often used in breast /pancreatic/liver cancer. Cancer unknown primary source is very rare and unique sinim trying to cross into other areas for some answers.  I didn't realise you had to stick to one group

Sorry - I thought you had got a different diagnosis to CUP and that was the reason I asked.  I like your updates - good idea to check for answers in other groups- best wishes, Dawn

No worries.  Unfortunately the CUP remains.  This time with change in treatment, the side effects different.  I knew where I was with carboplatin and plaxatol, Gemcitabine is definitely different.  Has two rounds , four more to go.  Scans after the fourth.. hopefully back in remission
