Hi It seems to vary according to the treatment regime. During EC I was constipated and with Paclitaxel it was the reverse. My last treatment was on the 4th November but it still feels a yo yo effect. I try to eat well and be patient. My cholesterol level has gone up and my GP asked if I altered my diet in the last year. One has to see the funny side of life.
Take care and keep safe.
It does go back to normal but I remember the balancing act of loads of fibre and bowls of prunes then eating lots of white food and having the opposite problem. I had EC fortnightly and I usually felt better between days 10-12 ready to start over…. But I recovered totally when I finally had three weeks without chemo - hang in there.
