Dimpling in breast after breast cancer

Hi hope everyone is ok. I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy in May - August. My breast now has dimpling in, phoned breast nurse today who said they’d fit me in with consultant would be two weeks. Got a phone call to go tomorrow so now really worried. Obviously I had googled on Sunday when I noticed it and I know you shouldn’t. Has anyone else had this after treatment and it’s been fine. Sensible head is saying they got it all, it hadn’t spread and my oncotype score was 9. Emotional side I’m in bits thanks x

I understand your worry; I'd be worried too, but it's quite possible that they've had a cancellation so can fit you in sooner.

Hi lovely , I can understand your worry but I bet they’ve just found a slot probably via a cancellation , then hopefully you’ll be reassured quickly and can put your mind at rest

Hi Locky, I think you called at a good time and everything was aligned and poof you got an appointment.
Always a good idea to get things checked out. Could be from the surgery and radiation causing the appearance change but the consultant will know. Take it easy.
