I'm the same underarm is very tight and painful if I knit or have my arm resting on the sofa arm . I'm awake now as it is uncomfortable under arm and across my chest .

I had lymphatic cording following surgery. Just had to keep going with the post-surgery exercises and do a bit of massage and heat pad (careful not to burn yourself if you have numb patches like me).
