Hello. its been a while since i last did a post, i wondered if anyone that had HERS2 Positive could tell me how they are getting on since treatment and being given the all clear and if there as been any recurrence. xx
Hi gina62 I was diagnosed in June 2019 my story is on profile so have a read to compare treatments . I’m due last bisphosonate infusion on the19th Dec. .finished Herceptin in Dec 2020 was told in answer to question Herceptin reduces the risk of recurrence.
Have now had three clear mammograms . Hope this helps
Hi, I like Northerner Margaret was diagnosed in 2019 (July). My story/journey is on my profile. I had multi-focus cancer 2 tumors Her2+ plus a third ER+ not diagnosed until much later. I had my last Herceptin treatment in December 2020. I seem to be fine cancer-wise but still with some lingering post-chemo effects and also being on aromatase medication my joints aren't good.
Having had a double mastectomy I do not have an annual mammogram so there is no check as to whether the cancer has reoccurred anywhere else. I would love to know if there was any way of checking for cancer spread. I have recently had a DEXA bone scan and all is fine. How are you doing?
xx
